EXCLUSIVE: Animation house Black Women Animate has set the details for its second annual Black in Animation Awards Show. Titled Lift While We Climb, the 2021 ceremony will see Grammy-winning musician and Steven Universe star Estelle return as host.
Mounia Aram flew to south Africa to attend the Cape Town Animation festival. She was invited to speak on two panels: “The In’s and Outs of starting a studio” with Esther Pearl, Kia Simmon and Deirdre Jantijies and another panel where she spoke to Mary Glasser about how to make your animation travel ready.
